Robert Melikyan brings a wealth of experience from his work with Big Four audit firms, where he has developed a deep understanding of complex financial environments. Throughout his career, he has served as chief accountant for companies operating across a wide range of industries, gaining hands-on expertise in financial management and regulatory compliance. He has provided expert tax advisory services on complex transactions helping businesses with optimizing tax strategies.
He has successfully managed all phases of audit engagements for both banks and non-financial institutions – overseeing planning, fieldwork, supervision, and final reporting. Robert effectively delegates tasks and leads audit teams, ensuring high-quality outcomes and adherence to professional standards.
His work includes thorough reviews of clients’ accounting systems, internal controls (including IT-related processes), and compliance with the Republic of Armenia’s regulations and tax legislation. Robert possesses strong and up-to-date knowledge of RA financial and tax laws, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
He is adept at preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS and is skilled at identifying control and accounting deficiencies.
